Dear Prospective Parents,
Thank you for considering St. Benedict School as the place to educate your child spiritually and academically.
Students applying for Kindergarten must be five years old by September 1, 2010. Students entering First Grade must be six years old by September 1, 2010.

You will need the following in order to process your request for the school year 2010-2011. All required documents must be filed in the school office by Friday, February 19, 2010.
1. Application Fee $100.00 (non-refundable)
2. Social Security Card
3. Certified Birth Certificate
4. Baptismal Certificate
5. First Communion Certificate (if applicable)
6. Copy of your child’s most recent Report Card/Progress Report
7. Principal’s recommendation form
8. Parishioner envelope number (if applicable)
TESTING OF NEW STUDENTS – By appointment only.
Incoming Kindergartners: Saturday, February 20, 2010.
Incoming First Graders: Saturday, February 20, 2010.
Be sure to schedule an appointment at the school office.
Testing for Grades 2 through 8 will be on Saturday, February 20, 2010 at 8:00 a.m. By appointment only. Please be prompt. Meet in the quad area (in front of school on 10tth Street). You will be directed from there.
INTERVIEWS
Interview with new families will be scheduled on March 6th by appointment only.
You will be sent a letter regarding your child’s application during the week of March 22nd. If your child is accepted, you will then be given Financial Agreement forms for completion, as well as other information for enrolling at St. Benedict (medical record requirements).
1. Immunization Card with required doses of immunizations
2. Current Mantoux TB Test, date & reading of negative or positive. Within 1 yr. Of school Entrance Date (dated after 8/09)
3. Varicella Immunization (chicken pox) or proof of illness.
4. Proof of Physical Exam for Kindergarten – 8th grade (original form required dated 3/10 or after).
